Aero club Christmas party?

The discovery led police to raid several residential properties and storage sheds across north Brisbane as part of Operation Romeo Mugwort.
Operation Romeo Mugwort? WTF is that? A Harry Potter reference or something?

At least they didn't have some copper with his arms in the prop arc and service weapon drawn this time!

Not the first time using an Aerostar. Anyone here from Tamworth in the mid to late 80's? Nice green Aerostar with very long range tanks -)

Capt Fathom 16th Dec 2020 09:24

Do tell us more Machtuk. Very intrigued!

I remember a similar bust at Jandakot about 15? years ago, an Aztec. Then there was the hangar whose roof blew off when the meth lab inside exploded...

One used to do Griffith Moorrabbin in the early 90s IIRC. Got caught.

Checkboard 16th Dec 2020 10:43

One did, did one? How long did one get in prison, compressor stall? :E

Squawk7700 16th Dec 2020 11:05

The Police used to use Aerostar’s for transporting their “clients” interstate a long time ago. Just sayin’...

Lookleft 16th Dec 2020 23:23

Flying the Aerostar is the closest thing a working GA pilot gets to "strapping on an airplane".

Because it is an absolute beast! One type I’ve never flown but lucky enough to have been in.

That's EXACTLY what I thoughtb when I heard the type...

According to this guy, the Aerostar isn’t the “best” drug running aeroplane.

2 hours of fascinating stories of nefarious activities.

A previous owner of the aircraft in question has expressed concern at his name and address being published in this thread.

Take note - the CASA Register for this aircraft is not correct, it has not been updated after a sale some time ago.

DO NOT QUOTE THE CofR HOLDER FROM THE CASA WEB SITE, IN THIS PPRUNE THREAD!! :uhoh:

Bodie1 20th Dec 2020 03:38

Old mate that got busted is/was a ppruner, wonder if he's cruising these pages whilst he hasn't got a lot to do? ;)

and dealing with the fallout of the (at least) three women he was in relationships with finding out about it all, and each other in the process.
Really? haha, the wife with newborn in tow can't be too happy about that!
