I see there are two BAE146 freighters on MED1 standby in the background for that "plus size" extravaganza......

Don't think you are allowed to advertise, but thanks for sharing!

Just as a matter of interest, how did this come to your attention?:E

Not the first to offer this. It was running in Perth and Brisbane about 20 years ago.

Anything to keep an aged, flogged out Chieftain in the air for a few more years when it should have been resigned to the scrap heap a decade or more ago.

I hope they make enough to buy something decent, spacious, luxurious and modern! :ok:

If you are not hand flying the aircraft at the time, it doesn't count.

In all honesty, how much business does this type of exclusive service provide?

machtuk 1st Nov 2019 22:47

Cheaper to go down to the local parlour, find the right participant & you will think you are higher than the Std mile anyway!:-)
Just how much "bang for buck" can anyone expect?:-)

What happens if you go "single supplement?"
Does it cost more?
What extras are provided?

buzzz.lightyear 2nd Nov 2019 01:19

I recall a PA32 Cherokee 6 at YMMB in the mid 70s was available with custom fitted mattress...

Been flying now for 42 years and still not a fully paid up member of the mile high club (I did try a couple of times!).

Sad and embarrassing.

Desert Flower 2nd Nov 2019 07:34

Carnal plessures? Hmmmm. I know a pilot who used to fly a Seneca for this sort of activity.

DF.

Some truck drivers do that too. Alone, while their vehicle is in motion.

BTW, I'm not a truck driver :)

onehitwonder 2nd Nov 2019 11:28

Chucky in Perth does real well out of it. 400+ flights in the article if I recall 😂

On Track 2nd Nov 2019 20:43

It's certainly been done before in Australia. I know of a service that used to be available at YSCN. I don't know if there were many customers but I'm told they were happy customers.

Traffic_Is_Er_Was 3rd Nov 2019 01:42

In true Oz GA fashion, is the pilot the one expected to hose it out at the end of the day?
