Question on Painting.
 
Can a LAME paint a VH aircraft? or is it a seperate qualification? and where can an aircraft be painted?

As far as I know, there is no specific aircraft painter requirement.
It has to be certified by a LAME under an appropriate CofA.
You need to consider disassembly and reassembly, balancing of control surfaces and reweigh after painting.

UK painting

They need to be certified by a P145 organisation.
CAP741 GR10 is a rough guide to be followed along with the SRM etc.
