Why so Low Jetgo?

I'm wondering why Jetgo are filed for FL360 but fly everywhere at FL280.

I'm sure that cuts into the marginal profits.

No RVSM? One pack U/S? Auto pilot U/S? Captain afraid of heights?

BNEA320 11th Jan 2016 18:32

when do they start flying into Essendon rather than Avalon ?

mikethepomme 11th Jan 2016 20:42

Probably not ADSB equipped. Exemptions no longer apply from 12th Dec 2015.

Dogzbody 11th Jan 2016 22:11

That seems very poorly managed. With a deadline that will cost you thousands if non-compliant, you would think that would be a priority upgrade to their equipment. Unless of course cash is a bit tight.

Ned Stark 11th Jan 2016 22:39

How long have they had to get the aircraft ADSB equipped? 3-4 years? If its because of not being ADSB compliant then that will be a pretty costly addition to fuel costs. If they just paid the $ to get the aircraft ADSB compliant then wouldn't you think that the additional savings in fuel would pay off? :ugh:
I guess if you scud run the rules and regulations long enough you'll eventually hit that mountain.

This is exactly what Dick Smith warned us of some time ago...

Track5milefinal 11th Jan 2016 22:50

They were up to F360 today! :ok:

Dogzbody 11th Jan 2016 23:10

One RVSM plane out of three ain't bad I guess. :}
