First of all you will need to have the right to work in Australia and that is not easy as you have to be sponsored.
That depends on the class of via you are applying for, and if the occupation is listed, there are more avenues than a 457 visa.


Secondly you will have to do all the basic exams here, or go through an apprenticeship which is almost impossible to get due the decline of GA.

That is not correct, get on to CASA, with all details of your present DGCA licenses and qualification, and ask them what they will give you, and maybe all you will have to do is an Airworthiness Administration exam (the equivalent of a pilot doing Aviation law) or whatever it is now called, for the issue of the Australia equivalent of your DGCA licenses.
