Ok, so I didn't have it quite wound up as hard as Trent's red helicopter, but it's about as quick as I'm ever going to go sitting in a piston twin.

Very good ruddman! Your prize is a free scuba lesson off Rotto with our friendly native fish! :}

Thanks, Bloggs. The prize is much appreciated. But will pass on it. Thanks. ;)

Two aviation classics!

Biggles78 9th Dec 2013 05:57

PM, any chance of a colour photo so the Beaver doesn't look so "wrinkled" down the fuselage? Just curious to compare what the 2 different "exposures" look like. My guess is the non classic photo will iron out the wrinkles of the exquisite Clutch Cargo machine.

Piano Man 9th Dec 2013 06:21

Biggles, please see below:

Had a bad thundery at GLA last month. Here are a few photos of a 182 that had a lightning strike on the ground. Notice the prop tips and the welding on the the rim. It popped bits out of the tarmac around the a/c. It'll be a strip and radio repair/replace at least.

Meanwhile, what Piano Man is really thinking...

Did I pump out the floats?
Will the mooring hold?
Is that the wind starting to come up?
Where are those bloody passengers?
Will I beat the tide?

I love floats, I really do! :uhoh:

PKG???????

ruddman 30th Dec 2013 21:41

I've been going over google images for every airport in WA and I'm starting to go crazy. :{. Tricky one this one is.

After not being able to match the line markings from the pic to the images, I'm guessing that Blogsy has parked his little rocket in a K-Mart carpark. That's my best guess. :E

greybeard 30th Dec 2013 21:56

Curtin RAAF?

:ugh:

I give up.
I've studied Bloggs' piccie pixel by pixel, and I can't see "a real machine" anywhere in that photo. :E
