HR, AWA, EBA, Awards...is it all too complicated.
With ak this HR mumbo jumbo, eba's AWA's , awards, Pilot commites and what not. Hasnt it all become just too complicated and protracted. Not to mention the lawers and "๖ther" managemant types that get involved.
I heard a story years ago, dont know if its true, about how Reg Ansett negotiated with his pilots. Apparently they met in a hanger every so often. Perhaps over a few beers, The pilots put their claim, Reg would retort "Geez you blokes will send me broke" , but at the end othe day, after a bit of give and take both sides would walk away happy with a fair deal for all. It would seem back in the old days, people, management in particular were a bit more practical and fair minded. |
Guptar best to not mention Ansett stuff it fires cetain people right up and then your thread will dissappear.
My opinion is you need to employ a fulltime specialist industial lawyer approaching your negotiations. Set aside a lot of cash for it but its worth it. |
