Geez Dr, what you doing in a C210??

That GPS at the bottom looks to be a Garmin 155.

The 210's I used to fly TAS'd around the 150-155kt mark, with the odd good one doing 160kts when it was lightish.

True workhorse of a machine. Loved it.

Dr

Not usually but, if I may be allegorically inclined briefly, it's like drinking a decaffeinated skinny soy latte with equal. I'm sure you know what I mean:ok:

Slumming it, Morno, slumming it - and trying not to scare myself!

The Forktailed Dr Killer has become a hanger Queen, awaiting a 100 hourly in a very busy maintenance shop.

Gotta stop flying this thing!

1980 C210N with zero time IO-550-L and Hartzell 82" scimitar prop

Racked up my 35th hour in "The Beast" today!

Gotta stop flying this thing - I am actually starting to like it. Everything works at last.

Seems to be running-in nicely - oil use is way down - hot cylinder seems to be running cooler!

Maybe I am just suffering separation (from the FTDK) anxiety!

Stockholm syndrome.

ForkTailedDrKiller 30th Apr 2008 11:41

Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker, regardless of the danger (or at least risk) in which the hostage has been placed.
Yep, that's it!
