Actually, no offence to Bathurst, it's just that I'd love to see the Reno or Red Bull races on a big screen (today's just brought it to a head :8 ).

Why the heck isn't air racing televised in Australia? What's the deal? Anyone else interested in doing a bit of lobbying at Foxtel?

Who won? General Motors Holden of Detroit or Ford, Michigan?

Bathurst is all about showing the American's how much we support the alliance by only allowing American automobiles in our premier motoring event!

This isn't about US v Oz, it's about the dominance of televised ground hound motor sport to the exclusion of the exciting stuff. Let's see some real racing.

Hmmm, my air race competitor days finished about 30 years ago! On that occasion, it was an air race starting from Jandakot. I got out to my aeroplane on the morning of day 1 to find that one DS had graciously commissioned someone to place an unauthorised, unsponsored sticker on it! :*
