Believe J* have been interviewing and Sim checking for self sponsored DE A320 FO's over the past few months. As for job offers.........no news.

Good Luck

You may have to sit tight for just a little bit. From what I've been told (second-hand info of course), there's another round of B717 drivers that are due to transition to the A320. After this latest batch go through, maybe the phones will start running hot again when they work out further crewing requirements at that point... Sorry it's not much to go on, but that's all I know for now.

I heard a rumour about a possible NZ base.....yet to be confirmed.:ok:

BIG PISTON 10th Aug 2005 05:00

Recent J* Media release advised x2 A320 aircraft being based in Christchurch. Suggest that would be a strong contender.

Does anyone know if pilotcv.com is the only way to get on their books?

balance 28th Aug 2005 06:37

I understand that a Captain on the A320 earns A$125K pa. Given that, why in hell would you want to work for the b@stards....?

Shagtastic 28th Aug 2005 08:36

What's this shyte about having to know 5 people in the company to reccommend you..? That's modern employment selection criteria at work there!!

Oh.. I forgot to mention that if you aren't prepaired to spit for the rating your flying experience and intellectual qualities are all irrelevant anyway. No interview sonny, not matter how many people you drank a skooner with.

can i grab some advice please??

i dont hold the minimum 500 hours multi command - but do hold almost 300 hours single engine turbine with RPT experience. Should I throw in an application anyway?? Ive heard of some getting through without this twin time.

Does Single engine turbine time hold some worth anywhere?

Gotta be in to win I reckon, you won't get a Job if they don't know who you are.!
