Did domething go down on Saturday?

Someone at studentpilot.com told me they saw a crumpled green and white plane on the news on Sat. night? She thought it was VH-HW 'something" and thought it was me! Said it hapened in an Eastern state but didn't hear anything else.

Anyone know the story?

goldeneagle - haven't you got any flying to do??

It was a Citabria that went down at Bindook. The instructor and student walked away with minor cuts and bruises.

Oh, sorry, I meant to add that it was Friday afternoon.

It was on the Television news on Friday night, but I couldn't find much on the internet news services. As OpsN has already implied, it was a Citabria from Curtis' at Camden.

Cool

And looking at the wreckage on TV, one can't help but marvel at the resiliance of the human body or robustness of Citabria design!

Yes that was VH-MWY , Jims green citabria, spoke to him yesterday, he's fine but a bit pi???ed off - he was back flying on monday, so is the student (a kiwi cpl) both very lucky.

sometimes sh**t happens, thank god they are both alright.

jim pretty much taught me everything I know in tailwheels, and lots of it in MWY.
