I was told today that the CASA require each pilot of an initial LCRPT operation to fly 4 proving flights without pax over the route/s in each direction. Does anyone know if this is true? Nowadays I tend to believe anything that anyone tells me about our trusted regulators, it really is a sad state of affairs.

Does anyone know what day it's showing in Sydney?

Now that's something I'd like to see...

The last two companies I've worked for in GA have closed their doors, and I know of many others. The comment of a senior FOI in CB really said it all, "People hate flying in light aircraft anyway!"

Anyone going to the NAS briefing in Sydney at the Superdome?
I love to see how our tax dollars are being used to educate us ignoramus's. Bloody nice venue, the Superdome. Wonder if they'll get more than a hundred takers? Very handy to BK.

Please don't help me, I'm having enough trouble trying to stay afloat on my own...

Great program on SBS last night. No false claims, simply heaps of facts and unanswered questions.

Good onya Prundle! Very well said from a very competent aviator and ex regulator. The only time regulatory sanity prevailed in Far North Queensland was during that brief period you were regional manager!

Great Program. Most of us have known for a while what is going on behind closed doors.
