"Shooting Script" --- the book

Anyone heard of this new paperback by Flt.Lt Phil Smith RAAF?

I've read a review, and looks good. Plot begins in South Pacific, has some SpecOps involved and a little Indonesian intrigue as well.

If anyone has it or has read it, I'd appreciate your comments.

Thought that was the title of an old Gavin Lyall novel with the hero using a B25 to take on DH Vampires in a South American revolution??

Shooting Script was by Gavin Lyall. Had it as a teenager, and read it untill it fell apart. Loved the bit in it where he is buying the b-25 that had been zero-timed once or twice. "Like your sister, she's been a virgin three times..."

Sorry, haven't seen the new one.

Quite a good book with modern political angle.

Not too long and interesting enough to read in one long sitting with some single malt.

I'll give it the thumbs up but haven't seen it in any book shops. Mine was a pressie.

A 'pressie'? Is that a present?

Where could I order it, on the web? Looks pretty good, and thank you all for your comments.
