Question Job Vacancy??

It never ceases to amaze me how far news travels in g.a. Even up north it seems everyone knows what's happening at all the big gaap airports down south. I heard that a bk CFI (don't know which school) has recently resigned ....anyone know any more...apparently was not for the usual reasons like a promotion elsewhere or a career move! Can someone clear the air on this?? (Wouldn't mind living and working in Sydney for a while!!)

Did he date my sister? Why? Do you want to?
Just curious that's all! Seems to be a few interesting things happening down Bankstown way lately that's all. Want to find out if there is anything in the rumours....this being a rumour network and all! (Seems where there is smoke there is always a fire!!)
What is the scene like at Bankstown at the moment? Still the quietest airport in the Southern Hemisphere?

CD,
I'm sure your sister is a great person, but my wife might not like that idea.

Smoke and Fire, very true.

My sisters taken anyway!!
Seems my source from the south tells me this CFI/CP has a reputation well known around Bankstown. Seems it takes years to get a good reputation but a bad one can be gotten in a very short time! Sounds like they have been put out to pasture....the less people like that in the industry the better, I say! Anyone know anything else or is this just another wild rumour????
Seems to be overdue for some of those old relic operators at Bankstown to get some new blood and give this industry a better name....cutting corners and bending the rules is not how this industry will grow!!

Pretty sure it's not a rumour...... I heard he resigned straight after a CASA safety audit (What a coincidence!)

Definitely the most dodgy pilot I've ever heard of.

If this industry is going to improve, CP's need to know (and follow) the bloody CARS/CAO's!

Real simple boys...over 30 violations of the act in regards to duty/flight time limitations alone. there was more however in so far as I've heard, it was stopped there as there was no need to go any further. As to being dodgy.....a disgrace would be a more appropriate term, some of the idiotic acts this try hard has performed over the years, you wouldn't believe. Good riddance to bad rubbish and anybody who's stupid enough to think that thats the way to act as a CFI/CP...well, you'll end up the same way...if you don't kill yourself first or more importantly innocent passengers/students. Best bloody news I've heard in a long time.
By the way................whats the goss on CD's sister? Define "taken" son. (is she cute?)
I'm off for a beer, or two,or three etc...............YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! !!!!!

Well, well, well! Looks like the grapevine doesn't lie after all! As the saying goes, where there is smoke there is a bloody big fire! The mystery still remains...which school?

C'mon boys..we all know who he is..(there's them that knows etc) so instead of worrying about who the operator is and doing that little rumour thing we all love so much, why don't we think about this for a moment. Due to the leadership skills of aforementioned jerk (or to be more precise, lack thereof), there's two or three individuals who due to a combination of youth, naivety, peer group pressure and genuine stupidity and greed, have been put in a compromising position. (They know who they are) Looking at the big picture, these indiscretions aren't overly serious as long as they don't do again (and as long as future employers don't find out!!!!). It doesn't seem fair to name the operator and therefore run the risk of ******ing up an otherwise satisfactory work record for the people involved. Not to mention the fact that there's also other employees both past and present who haven't done anything wrong at all but could be looked at with a leary eye purely because they worked/work there and were associated with this piece of work.
Suffice to say this...... that bloke in time, will leave the industry voluntarily or more than likely be forced out. When that happens, the industry will be a better place.
TORRES: Can't answer you mate, don't work for CASA
INSIDEOUT: Actionman wannabe ring a bell? PM me and throw a few names, you whistle and I'll point!
Anyhow...on to more important things.....CD...tell me about your sister?!!!!

like all bad pilots that give ga a bad name they will always be around. From what i have seen and heard of this fool on the radio he has to read his aip's to remember the proper way to do his calls.(he loves the sound of his own voice)

Sounds like this person is quite a character. From what I have heard..... anyone flying with him got a unique look at CRM....Captain's Right Mate!
His way or the highway...looks like a lot of people have taken to the highway....its a lot safer!

Apparently this dude has found some work elsewhere....finally found an organisation as corrupt as himself??!!

Its great to be famous....even better to be a legend...but to go down in GA folklore as possibly the most corrupt and dodgy pilot around.....no thanks! Congratulations mate....sounds like you win the grand prize!

I noticed you started this thread and have been fuelling it all along. Any interest in it for yourself personally?

If it is the person I think it is, then thank God he's gone, BUT! you wont let this die, everytime it goes quiet, you pop up to rile everyone up again....

Perhaps your looking for that job yourself?
