How's life in Virgin Blue

Just a couple of questions.

Anyone know VB's thoughts on employing girls?

And also more to the point is VB a happy camp?

Would appreciate any comments.

1. As long as they are good looking.
2. Depends on who you talk to.

I assume your are asking if DJ employ female pilots, yes they do. A couple of them are captains. Is DJ a happy camp. Yes apart from some of the more senior captains who think they should be paid more. 99% of the crews are happy with their lot. The odd gripe is quickly forgotten when you realize your working for one of the very few airlines in the world that is profitable, expanding and has an exciting future. Good luck!!!!

Map, if you are single and like going away alot, you will have a ball, if you have a partner and /or kids, best take a photo of them with you when you go to work
( so you don't forget what they look like )

Actually, its not that bad for F/Os. 55 to 65 stick hours per month and 8 to 9 over nights, I can live with that. Captains are working hard, around 90 hours a month.
