Question What is the name of this program?

Hello all,

This is something that has really been annoying me recently. I would really love to see a program I saw on television many years ago again. If someone here can remember the name or if they know what I'm talking about and can find out a name or some more details I would REALLY appreciate it.
From what I remember - and it's not much - It was a documentary that focused on the job hunting of one or more junior pilots looking to get a first job "up north." I can only remember enough to describe one scene from it and I'm pretty sure it was the sequence that finished the program. There is a prospective pilot that obviously hasn't had any luck finding a flying job and is cleaning a car’s windscreen at a servo.

Now can ANYONE give any clues as to what this was called? I’m getting desperate and I don’t know how long I can cope.

Thanks

Cool

thats was : King of the outback sky

or something similar, focusing on the Kerry Slingsby's Slingair and Heliwork operations out of kunnas.

Its is pretty old now, about 10 CP's latter, no fixed wing pilots featured are still there. Maybe a chopper pilot or two. Airs on Fox every now and then.

As for the young chap who was 'unsuccessful', he actually ended up VERY successful. He's now buzzing around the place in turbines, very fast pistons, and living the dream life that only a very few GA companies can offer. Way to go Butters.
