Virgin Expansion
Just a little curious about future base options for the rapidly expanding network.
Once MEL is up and running,will they eventually follow in Ansett's footsteps and spead crew around the ports (i.e SYD,ADL & PER)?
Have heard several RUMOURS that ADL and SYD will happen sooner rather than later,however,that's all they were,not from any real concrete sources.
Would anyone a little closer to the action care to shed some light on the topic?

I think most people would want a lot more money to go to syd for obvious reasons.The only way to get pilots there now would be to employ people on the basis of being based in syd.Smaller bases will be inevitable in the long term but not soon.rumour is long term DJ will have 46% of aircrew based in MEL!
