Accomodation in Bankstown?
Wondering if anyone has any accomodation for single male on or walking/ treddly distance from BK airport?
I would require it Monday thru Thursday nights each week.

Grrowler, try the Flyers In just on the North Eastern end of the airport. I stayed there in 96 and found them to be really friendly and helpfull. Especially if you are working strange hours. Their beer also helps you sleep!!

'Spotless Accommodation' is (was?) on the airfield. Basically a collection of ATCO sheds. I stayed there for some time. Cheap & cheerful.
Marge was the person to contact then. Don't have her number though. Just about any school on the field will be able to give it to you. Presuming Spotless is still going, of course.

Avoid 'Spotless Accommodation', cause it really isn't as the name would suggest. I stayed there a year ago or so for a short time and moved out shortly thereafter. Some people were nice, but most were unable to wash a dish or practice acceptable third world body cleansing practice (they were inhabitants with the mostly manky ways of living). Visit the flyers cafe and see if there are any share accommodation rooms available.
