kiwi training advice needed
Hey guys,
I am hoping to move out to NZ from Scotland, later this year, to follow my lifetime ambition of doing my CPL.
Can't stand another "summer" in britain !! (plus, my local flying school charges £100+ / hr, so can't aford to fly as much as I want to).
Just wondered is any of you knew anything about the flight academy in Christchurch as it looks to be quite well respected, good facilities etc - does it have
a decent reputation ? I am hoping to fund myself through their 12 month full time Professional Pilots course,
CPL/MEIR and 230 hours total time.
Any advice would be much appreciated !! Cheers guys.

DJ,
Suggest you also check out Simuflite, they are shortly to begin cadet training for Easyjet (UK) and maybe able to help with regard to providing JAR approved training that could make your conversion easier when you go home. Saw today they were advertising for ground and flying instructors with locations in Auckland & CHCH so you can still go to CHCH if that's your plan.
Academy at CHCH has good reputation, one of the better mass production type places in NZ.
You could do worse.

IAANZ
Ref. international aviation academy at CHCH
Im there at the moment, and am 100% satisfied with what Im getting, although Im only doing a PPL so far. I searched long and hard to find somewhere to do my flying, and am delighted to say that I made the right choice.
You won't find a more modern, professional, and enjoyable place to fly than here. Feel free to email me if you want any more info.
