121B FLOT conference

As you know the 121B FLOT conference has come and gone. Considering the amount of debate the subject raised on pprune when the first discussion paper was aired, I was surprised at the 'lowish' participation rate by industry. There couldn't have been more than 20 people in the room and no more than half a dozen contributing by email. But, being an optimistic sort of bod I am assuming that plenty of people were watching without saying anything.

So, I thought it might be useful to start a topic to discuss the updated paper. There is still plenty of time to make changes and the CASA 121B team appear to be genuinely interested in comment from industry.

I was reasonably impressed by the changes that have been made since the original paper was issued. So lets use this opportunity to get what we want rather than having unworkable legislation being forced on us at a later date.

Detailed draft paper available here
