Wheels up YPAD

About 8pm this evening what looked like a 402b model landed with what looke to be the nose wheel down and 2 mains partly
extended. I saw it overhead my house complete a tight left base as cloud was pretty low as it has been the last few days, I was travelling along burbridge road next to the airport where it did another pass by the tower before conducting another tight low level circuit onto runway 12, The tenders were at hand as it settled down slightly left wing low in a shower of sparks and looks like he did a good job.

Thats the second time the tenders were out in 2 days after
another incident yesterday with another carrier (smoke in the cockpit acording to the press)

well done to the pilot anyway, had lumps in the throat as the wing dipped but thankfully all was ok as the emergency chaps were straight on it was eerie watching him approach in such an untidy condition.
