Cook Island Aviation Regs
I understand that the Cook Islands fall under New Zealand's civil aviation regime - is this still true?
Second Question - are there area's in the New Zealand Aviation Rules that differ from FAR 25 & FAR 121, regarding performance?
Thanks for any information.

The New Zealand Civil Aviation Rules (CAR) have been rewritten so that their numbers correspond with the FAR e.g. CAR25 = FAR25.
Go to www.caa.govt.nz - the rules are all available on-line

Loke,
the previous rules were based on the Civil Aviation Regulations (The Regs) written in 1953!
Not sure about your other question, but am curious as to why you are interested in the "old" rules when today's system is FAA based CAR's and PANS OPS II standard?
