Jack Newton

Reading that he's not too well at the moment and in hospital.
Got me wondering - what really happened when he lost his arm and eye?
I've been told one story, but does anyone know the truth?

huntsman email me............. I ran into a friend of Mr Newtons a couple of years back and ironically we were flying in the aircraft which ruined Mr Newtons day. The friend was there when it happened.

The aircraft C210 MDG was operating for alligator airways at the time I was flying. The propellor had been tested as servicable and remained with the aircraft for some years and was offered back to Mr Newton as a souvenier. It possibly was later autioned off for charity by the Newton Foundation.

Hopefully for the sake of Junior golfing Mr Newton pulls through his lastest medical hurdle, no doubt very serious. All the best Mr Newton.... all the best
