Vale Bax xy

Murray Bax departed us last Sunday for greener pastures and greater golf courses. Heart attack aged 66.

Like him or Love him, dedicated to the profession and always, underneath, a heart of gold.

JC will need to mind his step as Murray does not like being No 2 F/O.

...a real character!...would have trouble being accepted today with the wimps, poofters, softies and whatever running the show these days, but those of us of Murray's vintage all know they were the "good ol' days!"

RIP.

Farewell, Murray.
He gave all of us (in the bar) a laugh at the Tuna Towers in Cairns years back, when he appeared in ONLY his white underpants at reception, thumping the desk and demanding to know who was ringing him and asking the time.

A real character alright, but I'm sure that he'll be in good company and find a few ears to bash.
