Ahh sunny Cairns (i hope)

Currently working in Queensland doing a mix of charter and instruction. Nudging 1000hrs with about 150 of that multi. Limited oppurtinity where I am to advance further and have been considering a move further north. Just wondering if anyone has any idea of experience companies up there demand.

Thanks 88B

CNS has a general unwritten requirement of around 400 multi. This does vary, and occasionally people get put on with lower, but they are usually known prior by the company concerned. The high time is because 95% of all charter aircraft ex CS are multi.

Lower time required for work in the Torres Straits. Try Aerotropics et al. - they have been hiring a few lately.

There are a fair few people moving on from CS, so not a bad time to drop in.

Good luck
