more info....
1. where are you starting?
2. where are you finishing?
3. where do you want to drive?
February. Summer. Monsoon.
Darwin, Katherine and the Kimberley. All non bitumen roads cut off due flooding and monsoon rain. Some bitumen roads (particualrly between Katherine and Kununurra) can be cut for weeks...and there is no other way around.
Cape York road is closed for same reasons as above.
Pilbara and Port Headland area (Mid west WA) is in the low 40s Celcius for weeks on end, and the red centre is not far behind....
You obviously cannot change your wedding date or honeymoon, but think about having your bush honeymoon somewhere in the southern regions...maybe the Alpine areas or Margret River regions (SW WA) which are perfect at that time of year. If so, there is only a moderate requirement for a 4wd camper.
email me if you want more info.
