'Accident' in QLD

Hi All,

I have been through the ATSB reports but still haven't found anything. What I am after is any info on an alleged fatal accident which supposedly happened about 12 months ago.

It possibly occurred in north Qld or in the Karumba or Weipa areas and may have been a Baron or a C310. The sole occupant deliberately flew the aircraft into the ground. He would have been aged around the 60-64 mark.

The info I'm after is for a friend.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Merely a suggestion. If the circumstances are as you suspect then any ATSB report may be held back until a Coroners report has been issued.

If you are able, an inquiry to the Queensland Coroners Office may be of some assistance although if a report has not been released, they will not give you any details.

The link will provide the mail address, unfortunately, the office does not seem to have a web site.
