Revolting Rhymes
As soon as Geoff began to feel
That he would like a decent meal
He went and knocked on Gerrys door.
When Gerry opened it, he saw
The sharp red teeth, the horrid grin,
And Geoffrey said,'May I come in?'
Poor Gerry he was terrified
'Your'e going to eat me up!' he cried
And he was absolutely right.
Geoff ate him up in one small bite.
But Gerry was all old and tough
And Geoffrey wailed ' Thats not enough!'
Then added with a frightful leer,
'I'm going to wait right here
'Till little Miss Virgin Blue
Comes in from taking the view.'
With coat and cap and brylcreamed hair,
He sat himself in Gerrys chair.
In came Virgin, stopped and said,
'What great big ears you have Geoffrey.'
'All the better to hear you with my dear'
'What great big eyes you have Geoffrey.'
' All the better to see you with, my dear'
Then little Virgin Blue said,' But Geoffrey,
what a lovely Kangaroo coat you have on.'
'Thats wrong!' cried Geoff. 'Have you forgot
'To tell me me what BIG TEETH I've got?'
'Ah well, no mattter what you say,
I,m going to swallow you anyway.'
But V.B smiles, throws back his locks
And pulls a Lion from a box.
He aims it at poor Geoffreys head
And MUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH it eats him dead.
A few weeks later in a queue,
I came across Miss Virgin Blue.
Oh what a change! No cloak of red
No silly hat upon her head,
He said ,'Hello , and do please note
'My lovely furry kangaroo coat.'

"Hand me the gun and ask me again!"
