Rose Bay Beaver Parking

Anyone know what the story is with the beaver hauled up onto the Rose Bay foreshore?
I hear it had a collision with a large motor yacht.
It appears that it also had another collision with a light post while being hauled up the ramp by the WSC winch.

I assume by WSC that is Woollahra Sailing Club? If it contacted light pole in attached screen shot, that was always going to be a tight manoeuvre?

so tight it hit mid span….second time a charm tho
That photo is very old. It looks a lot different now. There’s a new ramp, jetty etc. There’s plenty of room. But it probably wasnt an every day event for all involved.

BronteExperimental: Did you ever find out what happened to the Beaver? I had been keeping a look-out for news but while ATSB has in the meantime listed far more recent incidents and occurrences on their website, there is nothing related to a Beaver in this time period. ASN Wikibase also doesn't list anything. If a motor yacht ran into a moored seaplane, then I can see why it hasn't turned up on ATSB website, but if the Beaver was also underway, you would expect something to have been listed?

No sorry. The only thing I heard was that it allegedly needed some repairs including a new prop before being moved.
but I wouldn’t call the source of that info necessarily well informed. I remember thinking at the time that if it had indeed had a prop strike then it would have gotten much more attention.
