looking for an old MMA legend?
I was reading through Capt.Reg Adkins "I Flew for MMA" last night and was reminded of the night that Capt.Harold Rowell flew the F-28 into Fitzroy Crossing.
I would be most grateful if any body has any more information on this fine cool headed Captain.I had the pleasure of meeting Capt.Rowell about 5 years ago and flew him and his wife on a scenic flight through the west kimberley.

G'day hoss
Possibly one lead you might make is contacting the Royal Aero Club of WA in Perth. The last I heard was Capt Reg Atkins still has an active invovlement in the club. He may have some further help.
You may know me, I was in the class of Fitzroy Crossing 1999-2000.
Cheers

Thanks SPECI,
I'll give it a try,I'm trying to find some more details on the Fitzroy Crossing story.I realise information will be hard to get as this happened back in 1971.I do recall many years ago hearing about a published article with a more detailed account of the events of that night.
Capt Rowell was a pilot who had been tested to the "Nth" degree and had not been found wanting.
