Tips on departing and arriving into Darwin International Airport

Hey all,

Just arrived in Darwin and looking to gain some experience flying around the Darwin region. Could anyone give out tips regarding flying in and out of Darwin i.e. procedures etc.

Ring the Tower and ask them, they've seen it all before, know all the traps and should've have some tips to make it easier for you (them).
