PNG accident - 18th Feb 2023 - Heli Solutions - P2-HSM
On Saturday 18th Feb, Heli Solutions Bell 407, P2-HSM, apparently made a forced landing due to tail rotor gearbox failure. Although not confirmed.
Pictures on social media show the tail rotor blades hanging from the tail boom. PNG AIC investigation and damaged listed as substantial.
