Beechcraft Denali orders in Oz

Does anyone have any orders for the new Beechcraft Denali into Australia? https://beechcraft.txtav.com/en/denali

This could be a great alternative for remote or bush operations where turbine Jet-A fuel is needed. Unsure how good it would be for the bush conditions though.
Any advertised costs out there yet?
Surely with the costs of Avgas Vs Jet-A, and then DOC's, that this might be an alternative over ageing singles of Cessna 210's up north.

Devil

From Dr 'G'....Denali list price is quoted 'from' USD 6 M......and that's before a projected price rise for deliveries.

That's plus the ferry and delivery costs and rego and OZ 'Cert' etc etc....and not forgetting the USD/AUD Exchange rate.

A rather expensive 'tourist' acft for around AUD 12M +.....that's a LOT of 'bums on seats'...?

I reckon that the 'older' acft will be around for a while yet.

'Rotsa Ruck'.....

It's pretty much a PC 12. That has certainly found it's niche in Aus, but not many 210s have been replaced by aircraft worth 24 times as much!!

Perhaps you need the much famed 'loadmaster'...the C-209, and I would recommend the T version......

Its cheaper too........

One could replace a 210 with a tbm700 / piper m600/ pa46 malibu/ diamond da62 etc if avgas is an issue. Or just get a turbine engine on a 206 if u hate avgas.

Little tiny windows, low wing. Useless as a sightseeing/tourism aircraft.
I would think a Kodiac 100 would be a better option for bush work.

Looks like a US reaction to the PC12 and the TBM which seem to have been getting a reasonable amount of traction in N America - doesn't offer much new TBH

Nah!.....Not enuf windows for de touristies.......

You could stand under the wings when its raining though - just like on the '209'......

Hey Mr LB, this particular 'T' stands for 'Thronomister'...required kit in the 'Top End' - due of course to the high relative humidity.

And, yes, I do think its available in the 'diesel' version - 209DT
To prevent annoying insects biting the paying pax, its also avbl in the DDT version.

Ah yes, the DDT variant with the 1080 engine. A great combination.
