APLA New Regs

Hey has anyone sat APLA recently? Struggling to get my head around the changes between CAO 20.7.1B and Part 121. Not much new reference material around.

Particularly concerned about takeoff and landing performance charts changes with wind head/cross and when to consider slope.

Any other general advice appreciated.

There is a bunch of mapping documents on the CASA website. Mapping where CAO's have moved into the new regs etc. Some of the CAO's have been removed from 'law' and there are now regs that say 'it is up to the operator to ensure that an aircraft can climb to avoid terrain' in that case instead of using old CAO's you'll be using the AFM or POH to calculate.
