Handheld Air Scanner On Flight

Hi all, I have a handheld receiver (TSC-100RA - Tti TSC-100R Airband Scanner) that can only receive but doesn't transmit any radio signals. I usually bring it to airshows or my local airport to listen to ATC. I was wondering if I can take it onboard a domestic flight in Australia to listen to ATC comms during the flight?

Yes you can, as it doesn't transmit. I do it all the time.

Just don't have the volume up to high. Might scare the SLF.
