The good news is that little if anything will change in the real world, because:
- there was no effective education campaign
- there is no practical enforcement mechanism, and
- it's obviously some desk jockey's solution to a non-existent problem.

Then, hopefully, the hundreds of pages of differences from ICAO Australia has notified will soon disappear out of ‘fairness’?

Quick update... in the latest PDF version of the VFRG (7.1) this is now on page 217. Obviously, if you are updating a paper copy, disregard.
