Forced Landing near Gympie Qld

Heard a 'mayday' yesterday afternoon - engine failure in C177RG 10nm west of Gympie airstrip. Tried to make it to YGYM but didn't have enough altitude. Put it in a paddock.
I went to the next frequency so didn't hear the outcome, so I was pleased to see the news that, while injured, the pilot is safe. ABC report here https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-11-...ding/100595992
