Centurian 4.0 V8 Diesel

Centurian 4.0 V8 Diesel

What has happened to this engine. I understand Thielert certified the engine and was bought by Continental. They have the 300 hp V6 now being delivered in the Diamond DA50. One would have thought the 4.0 V8 at 350+ hp would be an ideal candidate for the Tecnam P2012.

I have flown a Pawnee with a LS3 V8 in it with similar power.

works pretty well.
