Chinese Visa for a quick turn?

Hi,

I'm going to China and planning a 2 hour turn. Does it require a Visa nowadays? Our handler says no it does not but I prefer to double check.

thanks

We are doing 4 hour freight turns. The Heath officials come on board with our handling agent, they check passport against Gen Dec. Also take our temperature and check our COVID test results we had done the day before departure. I don’t have a visa.

thanks Fluke

Our handler didn't mention anything about Covid testing. Maybe cause we're only picking up someone.

Hi acheo,

I’m not sure of your nationality, though I see your location says Canada, however I see you’re posting on a forum used by lots of Aussies; so an FYI, our biz jet crew was denied a Chinese visa 2 weeks ago, as we are Australian nationals.

Might be worth checking if you’re lucky enough to be, or any of your crew is, an Aussie. I guess our Government’s pushing back about some issues with the Chinese are having an effect.

You're correct, we're canadian. By asking around, everyone confirmed a quick turn around doesn't require a Visa.

thanks!

Shouldn’t your handlers be able to tell you this in 2 mins?

And after Canada detained a Huawei executive on behalf of the USA, China just loves Canada! Take an overnight bag!

Handlers are good but if they stuff up, it’s your problem. Quite sensible IMHO to get others experiences to cross check. Have done same in the past.
