Fly Away Out West
Planning a flight out west stopping at multiple locations but the general flight is YBAF - around Lake Eyre - YBDV - YLRE - YBAF. Is there anywhere that is a must see while out there? And also if anyone has info about landing at YCFH (Clifton Hills Station) that would be awesome.
Cheers!

Noccundra is a great place to stop for the night. Great pub with good food and accommodation. One of the few remaining places where you can literally park the plane at the front door of the hotel. Fuel at Thargomindah first and then you should have plenty to get you to William Creek with a stop at Noccundra and Innamincka.
Route YBCV- YWDH- Monkira-Glengyle(Lake Machattie)- YBDV-Big Red- Eyre Ck-north side of goyders lagoon- Into Lake Eyre- YWMC. Don’t count on landing at Clifton. It is not on the edge of the flood plain , so there is nothing to really be gained by landing there. It is also private property.
make sure you are on Lake Eyre freq. Cooper water only got to just north of Coongie Lakes
