TravelPro Luggage on Australian Airlines
Hi all
I was just wondering do any flight crew in Australia use the TravelPro luggage for carry on (both paxing and operating). I know they are slightly bigger than the offical dimensions of all Aussie airlines but was wondering (particularly) do Qantas and Virgin ever check the strict measurement and weights of the carry on. The one I was looking at was the:
CREW™ 11 21" EXPANDABLE SPINNER SUITER

thanks in advance

I have the same luggage (non spinner version) and it fits neatly into the overhead lockers on the B737 at Qantas.

the only issue I have ever had with it is on a QF 737 with the lockers that are slightly narrower overhead the front rows than they are further towards the rear of the aircraft (not sure which version of interior that is, sorry) where it was slightly too long to be stowed overhead row 1 or 2. Solution? Stow it overhead row 3, or slightly further back, where the lockers are fractionally deeper.
Fits neatly under the jumpseat in the QF B737. Top quality luggage that will go the distance.

Have never been asked to check the dimensions but unsure if it’s because they are happy with it or if it’s a unofficial courtesy as a Platinum.
