Victorian Air ambulance

Can anyone please enlighten me as to the current pay and conditions there on the B200?

A search has revealed no current information.

Many thanks,

DoD

If you’re a member of the AFAP you should be able to get access to all the current EBAs they have been involved with. If it’s not on a there, any RFDS EBA should give you an indication of what to expect.

Good luck if you are applying and meet the mandatory requirements, it’s a pilot’s market at the moment, however don’t let that be a reason to take a cavalier approach to the recruitment process.

The RFDS EBA won’t help as the Vic Ambulance contract is operated by PEL-AIR.

Pretty short of B200 pilots due to airline recruiting.
No sooner trained and online and then off to the airlines.

"No sooner trained and online and then off to the airlines."

With the full support of the AFAP mind you - protecting them for saying thanks for the $20k plus training, stick your measly bond, defending them for skipping out without giving the required notice as per their contract.

Good job AFAP - and you wonder why companys go the 457 route when you defend self centred dicks.

They are advertising again, anyone know what the T's & C's are like, roster, pay etc? Any general (recent) information on the company would also be greatly appreciated.

Brace yourself.

Because you'd expect totally honest and unbiased answers from a prospective employer about the culture, roster stability (or potential lack thereof) and reasons they keep advertising?

The fact that they can't keep people tells you all you need to know! They will get people on the way up of course but they make it clear from day one that new recruits are not really valued with part pay for x weeks training and probationary periods, plus the attitude of Mr Rude, all to fly a B200!
