The AVWEB advert is for a UAT unit. Will not work here or anywhere else in the world except USA.

Far too late to change, but the adoption of 1090ES (versus UAT or VDL-4) "internationally" will, in the long run, prove to be one of the dumbest "technology choices" aviation has ever made, a choice for all the wrong reasons, where looking to the broadband communications future was NOT one.
