NSW Police report on FB -

Just before 4pm today (Wednesday 15 November 2017), a Cessna single pilot aircraft crashed landed in a paddock approximately 1km south of Deniliquin airport.
The pilot and sole occupant was able to self extricate.
The 20-year-old man walked away with minor injuries.

The tail section still looks almost brand new too.

Wonder how it got so bent, it's not like it's all that hilly round there, plenty of spaces to land.

Devil

Viewing that photo made the last few lines of an Aviation based song I heard another lifetime ago spring to mind...

"............so if you crash it, do it right.
as you crawl from the wreckage, set it alight!
And the Boss will buy you a beer and tell you that
'You're all right!"

Er...not that I would even suggest such a thing....

Not sure that this pilot had any spare AVGAS remaining to do that, Pinky?
