NOMAD over Melbourne's SE suburbs.

Anyone have any knowledge of what the Nomad was doing repetitively flying a line between the Ivanhoe area and the Chadstone area between 0930 and 1000L today?

If it's good old ATO, then most likely survey work of some description I would think. I can't open the pic to see for sure.

Yes, unfortunately, at this juncture the attachment is still pending PPRUNE approval.

A little more research, as against guessing, has found this aircraft does a lot of Geo-survey work.

Maybe mapping for the new Eastern link underground tunnel to join the Eastlink and Hume Fwy together finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And apparently that's the last one Duck! If you don't count the one sitting in Gippsland Aeros hangar that's being used for their New Nomad.

Belive they had 2 Stick, one is flightworthy as far as I'm aware but no longer registered? The other taken to pieces?

Someone more in the know can probably tell us!
