SINGAPORE Airlines B747
Just saw a B747 in full Singapore Airlines livery Brisbane airport today. Not parked with a bridge though not far from Intl passenger terminal.
Checked on Wiki, last B747 in SIN retired in April 2012. Anyone know the story of this aircraft and why is it here?

Wouldn't think there would be anymore Pax configured 747 in the modern bits of the world these days would there?

donpizmeov - QANTAS, BA and Cathay, also Delta/United. Not certain about these but think they still operate the Queen of The Skies, a.k.a. B747-400.
Pax 747-400's are indeed rare but still around.
UNITED, LUFTHANSA and THAI are 3 I've seen in just the last few days.
Oh, and CX did their last 744 pax flight a while ago.
