Anyone know anymore details, who the pilot was, or type of aircraft? Very sad to hear

I think it was a Kitfox or lookalike. A number of those in Taz.

Milfred was one of our fire spotters in years gone by when I worked out of DPO. I like others spent many summer afternoons bumping around the sky with Milfred chasing the smoke coming out of the plantations.
A quiet, unsuspecting fellow. Flying at 75, thats an achievement!
