Sydney TTF
G'day, haven't posted in a while...
I noticed recently that Sydney's TTF has:
TTF METAR YSSY 080130Z 17015KT CAVOK 21/17 Q1008
RMK RF00.0/000.0 1CU070 5AC180 7CI270 HZ
NOSIG
Excuse my ignorance but what does the bolded section translate as? I was thinking maybe the first section was 1 OKTA of cumulus at A070 but then what is CI? I had a look through the AIP but couldn't find anything.
Cheers!

When CAVOK conditions prevail and a total of more than 4 oktas of low or middle level cloud covering the celestial dome is present, the detail of this cloud will be given in coded form in the Plain Language section of the message, e.g. 1CU060 4AC110. This is normally automatically encoded into the report.
