Light plane missing off Barwon Heads

Herald Sun and others reporting 4 seater plane reported it was ditching around 7:30pm EST and has not been seen since. Police airwing reported to be on scene and Aerorescue, VH-PPQ is currently on route based on FR24

And the moron who yelled out "Guard!" while Qantas was getting the aircraft's position on 121.5 should be strung up.

Geelong paper says the plane turned up in Coffs. Very strange.

I think I recall, I may be wrong, that there has been a previous episode where the rego of an aircraft from a certain club has been taken in vain. I'm not sure what happened to the person, allegedly a former instructor, that allegedly did it. but then, the rego could be seen by any spotter through the fence.
