Realistic assessment of Jandakot, Perth YPJT

I overheard an occasional aviation enthusiast at my son's footy club visit YPJT Jandakot on a weekend and he wondered why there was nothing flying. He went to YPPH and the winds screwed up the "viewing platform" so he timed looking at landing aircraft across whatever airport road was appropriate.

This is a sad state of affairs for sure.

You'll need to translate that into some form of English!

I find that an unrealistic assessment......although I don't understand a word of what you're saying. The affects of Margaret River's best I presume

So basically you're saying that the strong winds prevented a lot of GA movements at Jandakot, while the wind or maybe the ongoing runway works caused the cross runway to be in operation in Perth which is away from the viewing platform.
What's so remarkable about that?

Wow, Dr Dre's Klingon and Scrabblelanguage skills are legendary. Quite how he managed to interpret that from AF's nonsense is impressive

I don't think it's any secret that Jandakot is quiet, regardless of the weather.
happy days,

The bloke is saying that you can't go plane spotting very easily anymore - Jandakot was quiet so went to Perth but couldn't see anything there either.
